BELMONT — Kelley Jean Ripley, 35, of Belmont, passed away Aug. 22, 2015, in Belfast. She was born Nov. 26, 1979, in Belfast, the daughter of Guy Albert Ripley Jr. and Elaine (Wescott) Ripley.

Kelley attended Belfast schools, graduating in 1998. She went on to earn her associates degree from the Kennebec Valley Community College. Kelley worked as a speech therapy technician for the Maine Center for Integrated Rehab in Rockland. She was an animal lover, who loved to travel, swim, enjoyed kayaking, the mud runs and knitting. She also was an avid NASCAR fan, with her personal favorite, Kasey Kahne. Kelley enjoyed life fully, especially when she was able to spend time with her family.

She was predeceased by her father. Kelley is survived by her fiancé, Joseph Frost of Belmont; her daughter, Trinity Frost of Belmont; her mother, Elaine Peaslee and her husband, Ralph, of Belmont; her siblings, Terry Ripley and his wife, Lisa, of Searsport, and Michelle Ripley of Belmont; her nieces and nephews, Rebecka Cole of Searsmont, Jonathon Ripley of Searsport and Michael Curtis of Belmont; and many other special family and friends, too numerous to name.

A celebration of Kelley's life will be held Friday, August 28 from 4 to 6 p.m., with a time of open sharing at 5 p.m. at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave. in Belfast.
