SPRUCE HEAD ISLAND — Janet S. Godin, 65, died unexpectedly Nov. 2, 2015, at Maine Medical Center in Portland from complications of heart surgery.

Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday, Nov. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St. in Rockland, where a celebration of her life will be held Monday, Nov. 30 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery in South Thomaston. The Rev. Wayne Sawyer will officiate.
