Good Friday, Easter events and religious services

Thu, 04/17/2014 - 2:30pm

This weekend’s weather is now clear of any chance of showers, and for those who celebrate Good Friday and Easter, it looks like spring temperatures will be increasing into Sunday. In addition to being a religious holiday, for many it is also a time to gather with family, share special meals and maybe hunt for an Easter egg or two. Monday is also Patriot’s Day for much of New England, and the day includes the annual running of the Boston Marathon.

Following is a list of Midcoast religious services, family-friendly events and Easter breakfast and brunch specials from Penobscot Bay Pilot affiliates. To inquire about adding a service or event to this list, send details to news@penbaypilot.com. To inquire about becoming an Affiliate to post your own news and be included in community resource pages like this, send a query to sales@penbaypilot.com.

The PenBayPilot.com staff wishes everyone a safe and happy weekend.
