Georges River Land Trust’s new SnowDog clears the way for groomed trails

Wed, 03/07/2018 - 11:00pm

In response to the outdoor community’s desire to get out and enjoy trails in all seasons, Georges River Land Trust has partnered with Sidecountry Sports, Bay Chiropractic Center, Chris Rogers and Midcoast Maine NEMBA (New England Mountain Bike Association) to purchase a SnowDog.

The versatility of this machine will make tract trail grooming perfect for running, fat biking, cross county skiing, and hiking. The vision for this improved trail access comes from the great response to having access to twelve trails groomed this winter, as well as from the growing local interest in winter mountain biking.

The Georges River Land Trust is committed to protecting the ecosystems and traditional heritage of the Georges River watershed region and receives 90% of its support from individual donors. For additional activities and more information, visit georgesriver.org or phone (207) 594-5166.
