TENANTS HARBOR — Edith R. Anderson, 94, passed peacefully July 12, 2014, surrounded by her grandchildren, at Windward Gardens in Camden.

Born in Whitinsville, Mass.,  on June 2, 1920, the daughter of Rubin O. and Clara M. (Bjork) Seastrom.

Edith graduated from St. George High School in 1938 and married Robert Norman Anderson on Dec. 21, 1940.

Edith was predeceased by her husband of 60 years; and her daughter, Karen A. Ware. Edith is survived by a brother, Hilding E. Seastrom of Tenants Harbor; a son-in-law, John Ware Sr. of Owls Head; her granddaughters, Rebecca M. Ware of Thomaston, and Susan W. Page and her husband, Charlie, of South Thomaston; a grandson, John Ware Jr. of Owls Head; a great-granddaughter, Jasmine K. Colson; her great-grandsons, Jack R. Page and Blake A. Page; a nephew, Kim Seastrom and his wife, Ann, of Rockport; a niece, Kristin Gould and her husband, Dave, of Thomaston, as well as two great-nieces and one great-nephew.

A graveside committal service will be held Saturday, July 19 at 2 p.m. at the North Parish Cemetery at Wiley's Corner in St. George. The Rev. Walden Chandler will officiate.
