ROCKLAND — Denise Pullen Morton, 49, of Rockland, passed away Oct. 21, 2014, at home surrounded by her loving family. Her life began Nov. 13, 1964, in New York City.

Denise was loved by many, especially by her two children, Nicholas Patrick Foster of Rollinsford, N.H., and Kaitlin Marie Foster of Rockland; her loving husband, John Morton of Rockland; three stepsons, Jerid, Jason and John Morton of Derry, N.H.; her mother, Anne Pullen of Pembroke, N.H.; and her brothers, Mark, and his wife, Suzanne, of Fairfield, Conn., and Chris and his wife, Anne, of Fairfield, Conn.; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving father, E. Markey "Pat" Pullen; and her sister, Suzanne Pullen.

Denise will always be remembered for the way she lit up a room with her magnetism and incredible sense of humor, which she proudly passed onto her children and also her way of living life with heart, starting every single day as a brand new one. She will also be remembered for her selflessness and for the love and laughter she shared wherever she went.

Denise attended Marymount College in New York City and Notre Dame College in Manchester, N.H., where she studied art psychology. Following college, she worked for Merrill Lynch and A.G. Edwards in stocks and bonds, and also received her real estate and insurance licenses.

A private service will be held by immediate family and a memorial service shortly thereafter will be held for family and friends.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice Services of Kno-Wal-Lin, for providing such peace and comfort to her.
