Community Partnerships for Protecting Children increases hours at the Rockland Family Resource Hub

ROCKLAND — All families need resources every now and then. CPPC has established a room on the lower level of the Rockland Public Library called the Family Resource Hub that offers those resources to families every day. The hours have expanded to four days a week, Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Family Resource Hub has information on what is happening in the community, at the library, as well as pamphlets and information on what services are out there in the community that families may be able to tap into if they are in need. Perhaps a family is looking to use a phone, a computer to print something off, look for mental health services, is dealing with food insecurity and needs to know where to go or just wants to sit and have a cup of coffee and peruse the resources while their child plays in the children's corner – these are a few of the items you can do at the Family Resource Hub. There is no cost for these services. Case Managers and those working with families, you can come too! Check out our resources or bring your families in to access the resources! We would love to see more folks accessing the hub.

For more information, please call Wanda Gamage-Wyman at 542.5318 or email wgamagewyman@brmaine.org. Please also call if you have ideas on what you think might be a worthwhile event at the hub or what you think the hub should offer!
