ROCKLAND — On Thursday, June 6, 2017 The Coastal Children's Museum, located at 75 Mechanic St. in Rockland, was awarded funds from the Walmart Community Grant affording the opportunity to share the gift of educational play and interactive learning with even more children and families of the coastal Maine community.

With monies received, the Coastal Children's Museum is pleased to offer their Library and Nonprofit Membership to the Rockland Public Library. The membership can be checked out at the library by card-holding families of up to six people and brought to the Children's Museum for a day of play! Stop by the library for a visit, read some books and catch up with your neighborhood librarian before swinging by the Children's Museum to play in the General Store, peek in the Gulf of Maine Touch Tank, and create a craft in the Imagine That Build-It exhibit. There is much to do and see at your local library and children's museum.
