WALDOBORO — Charles K. Davis, 77, passed away on June 20, 2016, at his home in Waldoboro. Charles was born May 14, 1939, in Portland, son of Keith S. Davis and Vera (Hansen) Davis.

Charles grew up in Portland and attended local schools. He graduated from Deering High School, achieving membership in the highest order of DeMolay-LeChevalier. After high school Charles joined the National Guard for two years and then entered the Navy for four years.

He was an electronics technician at VAST Corporation in South Bristol, an electrician technician for Kitteredge Industries, constructing one-man submarines, and an instrumentation technician for FMC.

Charles coached Little League in Waldoboro for many in years. He also was a collector of coins, stamps and matchbooks. He was a loving husband and father who will be missed by his family.

Charles is survived by his wife of 53 years, Roberta (Greenleaf) Davis, of Waldoboro; his sons, Timothy C. Davis of the Dominican Republic and Bradford H. Davis of Waldoboro; his daughter, Brenda Lee Brunick of Waldoboro; his granddaughters, Carrie Lynn Davis of Lewiston and Jessica Brunick of Waldoboro; his grandson, Charles Brunick of Waldoboro; and his great-granddaughter, Aubrey Jean Brunick of Waldoboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Charles' memory may be made to Waldoboro Little League, P. O. Box J, Waldoboro, ME 04572.

There will be no services.

Hall Funeral Home and Tribute Center in Waldoboro has care of the arrangements.
