Camden Police beat: Texting while driving, leaving the scene of an accident, speeding

    CAMDEN — Camden police reported the following activity Oct. 2-22. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

    Oct. 2

    Kevin Curit, 40, of Lincolnville, was arrested by Officer Timothy Davis for operating under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident and issued a summons for texting while driving.

    Oct. 4

    Andrea Hawks, 56, of Camden, was issued a summons by Davis for speeding.

    Oct. 7

    Alyssa Green, 22, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Davis for speeding.

    Oct. 9

    Adam Dare, 43, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons by Officer Brook Hartshorn for inspection violation.

    Oct. 14

    Michele Chadwick, 43, of Searsmont, was issued a summons by David for speeding.

    Oct. 22

    Jesse Sawyer, 31, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Sgt. Dan Brown for speeding and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
