Camden Hills set to host girls soccer regional final, announces important spectator information

ROCKPORT — Camden Hills Regional High School is pleased to announce they will be hosting the Class A North regional soccer championship Wednesday, Nov. 1 when the top-seeded Lady Windjammers challenge third-seeded Bangor Lady Rams at 2:30 p.m. 

The Camden Hills athletic department would like to remind spectators of the rules for fans, in addition to the release of pertinent information. 

The team introductions will begin at 2:20 p.m. with the National Anthem being played immediately afterwards.

For those unfamiliar with the layout of the Route 90 school, the soccer field is in the back of the school. 

Admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for those 65 and over. Students will be admitted at no charge. 

The school is located at 25 Keelson Drive in Rockport and does not allow any pets except for service animals. 

In the event of a weather cancellation, the game will held Thursday, Nov. 2 at 2:30 p.m. in Rockport. 

Additionally, the following rules will be strictly enforced for all spectators: 

  • Bare-chested individuals are not allowed.
  • Noisemakers that in any way interfere with the play of the game are not permitted. 
  • Placards, signs, pennants and shakers on sticks that restrict the view of other spectators are prohibited. Signs or banners may be hung, provided they are not obscene, inappropriate and do not contain profane language. 
  • Any person throwing objects on the field will be removed immediately from the site. 
  • No spectators are permitted to be under the influence of illegal substances. Security will detain any student perceived to be under the influence of an illegal substance and will contact their parents/legal guardians. 
  • Mascots or other individuals are not allowed on the field.
