Camden Hills girls soccer ready to defend state crown Saturday

ROCKPORT — The Camden Hills girls soccer team is once again having an incredible season as a member of Class A, the state’s highest classification. 

After posting a 17-1 record in 2016 and claiming the school’s first girls soccer state title, the Lady Windjammers once again bested Bangor in the regional championship Wednesday, Nov. 1 for the second year in a row. 

Now, Camden Hills and Scarborough will meet on the pitch at Deering High School Saturday, Nov. 4 at 12:30 p.m. as Camden Hills will look to not only defend its state crown, but also repeat as state champions. 

Below is an outlook on how both teams have performed this season.

The team is coached by Meredith Messer, who is assisted by Josh Mahar.
