CUMBERLAND — The State Cross Country Championships were held Saturday, Oct. 28 in Cumberland. 

Competing in the event were runners from Camden Hills, Belfast, Searsport and Medomak Valley. 

As a team, the Camden Hills girls team received first place while the Belfast boys finished 12th. 

The Camden Hills girls team has now qualified for the New England Championships after winning the school’s first girls cross country state title.
