Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the  following activity May 25 - June 6.  An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    May 25

    Ashlee N. Spaulding, 19, of Jackson, was issued a summons for speeding 59 mph in a 45 mph zone on Lincolnville Avenue. 

    May 31

    Norma J. Philbrook, 44, of Swanville, was arrested for failure to appear and unpaid fines (three counts).

    Nicholas T. Ripley, 18, of Belfast, was issued a summons for illegal possession of liquor by a minor on Union Street.

    June 1

    Katrina Simpson, 31, of Swanville, was issued summonses for attaching false plates and speeding 50 mph in a 30 mph zone on Marsh Road. 

    June 2

    Jonathan R. Develder, 20, of Gardiner, was issued a summons for speeding 70 mph in a 45 mph zone on Lincolnville Avenue. 

    Troy S. Applegate, 41, of Swanville, was issued summonses for operating without license and failure to register a motor vehicle (30-150 days) on Swan Lake Avenue. 

    June 3

    Joseph P. Quesnel, 42, of Hope, was issued  a summons for speeding 59 mp in a 45 mph zone on Lincolnville Avenue. 

    Ian M. Carey, 35, of Ellsworth, was arrested for violating conditions of release on Front Street. 

    Philip J. Dulude, 28, of Belfast, was arrested for criminal trespass on Back Belmont Road. 

    Brendon J. McKeen, 19, of Searsport, was issued a summons for illegal possession of liquor by a minor by consumption on Penobscot Terrace. 

    June 6

    Michael A. Ripley, 26, of Belfast, was arrested for operating under the influence, failure to give notice of an accident by quickest means and terrorizing on Lincolnville Avenue.
