Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity June 1-10. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    June 1

    Brian Fogg, 26, of Belfast, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance on Doak Road, stemming from an incident May 29.

    June 5

    Larry W. Olsen, 78, of Lake Peekskill, N.Y., was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle (150+ days) on Belmont Avenue.

    June 6

    Linda L. Potter, 71, of Morrill, was issued a summons for speeding 49 mph in a 30 mph zone on Marsh Road.

    Joseph O. Dorval, 32, of Belfast, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle (150+ days) on Belmont Avenue.

    June 7

    Eric D. Reed, 46, of Searsport, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle (150+ days) on Front Street.

    Raymond A. Stover, 30, of Belfast, was issued summonses for operating an ATV on a public way and operating without a license on Swan Lake Avenue.

    June 8

    Jeffrey A. Mitchell, 30, of Swanville, was issued a summons for operating without a license on Head of Tide Road.

    June 9

    Josephine E. Shorette, 35, of Corinna, was issued a summons for speeding 49 mph in a 30 mph zone on Marsh Road.

    Darin T. Ross, 50, of Newark, N.J., was issued a summons for improper passing on Route 1.
