Driving violations, domestic violence, dogs at large

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity Sept. 4-15. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Sept. 4

    Joyce A. Christie, 62, of Belfast, was arrested for theft at Grove Cemetery and desecration and defacement.

    Justin W. Olsen, 31, of Belfast, was arrested for elver fishing by a resident without a license with a single device and elver harvesting during the closed season.

    Sept. 5

    Natalie C. Bowden, 25, of Freedom, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Congress Street.

    Sept. 7

    Christopher L. Duval, 30, of Morrill, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle (30-150 days).

    Sept. 8

    Michael D. Thompson, 40, of Belfast, was issued summonses for failure to license a dog and keeping a dangerous dog.

    Sept. 9

    Unique Peters, 40, of Belfast, was issued summonses for keeping a dangerous dog, having a dog at large and failure to license a dog.

    Sept. 10

    Joseph H. Durain-Carter, 20, of Belfast, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance.

    Sept. 11

    Kasidee F. York, 29, of Farmingdale, was issued a summons for speeding 59 mph in a 45 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

    Sept. 12

    Casey J. Eaton, 28, of Stockton Springs, was arrested for operating under the influence on Searsport Avenue.

    A Winterport minor was issued a summons for violating an intermediate license restriction by carrying passengers above the limit on Route 127.

    Sept. 13

    Matthew M. Warren, 30, of Belfast, was arrested for operating under the influence on High Street.

    Sept. 14

    David L. Oxton, 44, of Knox, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance.

    Leigh Trommer, 34, of Belfast, was issued summonses for keeping a dangerous dog, having a dog at large and failure to license a dog.
