Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — Belfast Police reported the following activity March 18-29.

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    March 18

    Terri Peabody, 55, of Troy, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Swan Lake Ave. 

    March 20

    Neal E. Wood, 55, of Belfast, was arrested for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and operating under the influence on Pitcher Road. 

    March 24

    Howard W. Whitcomb, 40, of Brooks, was arrested for operating under the influence on Smart Road.
