ROCKPORT — Accessible and affordable medical care is one of the most crucial and hotly debated topics in the US today. What did medical care look like for previous generations? How does it actually operate now? What would a sustainable and effective system for the future look like?

During a five week class, these and many other issues will be discussed. The class is lead by Mike Shunney, who has been involved in health and healing education and medical insurance billing for over 20 years, and is the co-founder of the greater Rockland area chapter of Maine AllCare.

This class begins 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Monday, 11/20, at Camden Hills Regional High School, 25 Keelson Dr., Rockport. For more information or to sign up contact adult ed at fivetowns.maineadulted.org or 236-7800, ext 5.
