If one of your 2018 resolutions is to use less plastic think about switching to a shampoo bar.  As a former hair product junkie I was reluctant to make the switch.  I had a lot of hair identity issues. I’m embarrassed now to think back on my bathroom full of shampoos, conditioners, leave in foams, itchy scalp medication and so on.  I believed the plastic bottles filled with chemical concoctions would resolve all my hair issues.  I spent a lot of money and made even more trash.  And even if you recycle your plastic bottles the issue is quite complex.  So anytime you can “give up the bottle”- go for it.
